About the Prize

In line with the objectives of the Laboratory of Studies and Research in the Ottoman Heritage in Algeria and its keenness to encourage scientific and academic research and to revive the Algerian historical memory, and in line with the laboratory's vision to open various fields for researchers and students of different levels, highlight talents and scientific abilities, and value the research done in this field, the Laboratory of Studies and Research in the Ottoman Heritage in Algeria announces the launch of the first edition of the research prize for research students at different levels and in different scientific disciplines.

Objectives of the prize

  • Encouraging scientific abilities and energies and promoting the culture of research among students and researchers
  • Contribute to the advancement of scientific and academic research in various fields
  • Engage students from different disciplines and levels in the proper research process to discover talents and scientific abilities from the early university stages.

General Provisions of the Award

  • The award is intended for university research students at different levels and specialisations
  • Participation in only one area of the award is eligible.
  • The research laboratory has the right to dispose of the prize-winning research.
  • The research must be original
  • The research must not have been previously published or won previous awards.
  • The jury has the right to withhold the award
  • The participant must comply with the terms and conditions of the award
  • The research must be presented in different languages (languages prescribed in Algerian universities)
  • The decisions of the jury are final
  • Works must be submitted within the specified deadlines.

The award is open to all university students in various disciplines:

- Doctoral students
- Master's students
- Bachelor's students

Individual and group entries are accepted
